New Changes to Freeview and Virgin TV Channels
As of last month, two new channels will be available on the free-to-access Freeview service, including the environment-focused EarthxTV. Three already-existing stations, including the well-known Now 90s music channel, are simultaneously changing their numbers, names, and areas of transmission. As usual, some viewers will need to retune their Freeview receivers in order to maintain the Electronic Program Guide's accuracy. Minor Freeview updates and the addition of new channels are frequent occurrences, but these recent months have seen an abundance of changes, including a significant reorganisation in June that saw the closure of nine Freeview channels.
