Our 3-way Passive optical receiver is designed for FTTH (Fibre to the Home) networks and does not require an additional power supply. Housed in a robust zinc die-cast enclosure with nickel plating, it provides reliable signal conversion without active components.
This unit can also be used across a range of applications, including long-haul fibre networks, data centres, security systems, CATV networks, RF-over-Fibre systems, medical imaging, broadcast A/V systems, and satellite communications.
What is a Passive Optical Splitter?
A passive optical splitter acts as an end-point that receives and converts incoming optical signals into electrical signals, enabling data transmission over the network. Unlike active receivers, it requires no external power source or internal electronic amplification.
Features:Primarily intended for FTTH use, this receiver is also suitable for use in data infrastructure, RF-over-Fibre systems, CATV, and more. I understand from my inquiry that your stock was low and is why the order was later than anticipated. It have been appreciated if it had communicated to me without me contacting you first, as I had had no information since the initial order confirmation. Having said that once the item was available it was dispatched and arrived within 24 hours and appears to be a quality product, although I have not installed it yet.
