Our 2-way passive optical receiver is designed for FTTH (Fibre to the Home) networks and does not require an additional power supply. Housed in a robust zinc die-cast enclosure with nickel plating, it provides reliable signal conversion without active components.

This unit can also be used across a range of applications, including long-haul fibre networks, data centres, security systems, CATV networks, RF-over-Fibre systems, medical imaging, broadcast A/V systems, and satellite communications.

What is a Passive Optical Splitter?

A passive optical splitter acts as an end-point that receives and converts incoming optical signals into electrical signals, enabling data transmission over the network. Unlike active receivers, it requires no external power source or internal electronic amplification.
