8-Way Single Mode Simplex Fibre Optical Cartridge PLC Splitter SC/APC
PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) fibre optic splitters are an essential component of any optical network. These devices can be used to divide a single incoming signal into multiple outputs, enabling the loading and transmission of data over large distances. This helps to significantly reduce cost and maintenance time in networks as fewer components are required for the installation and configuration process.
PLC splitters are made from Fused Biconical Tapered (FBT) technology which minimises insertion loss and crosstalk, resulting in greater stability, lower bit-error rates, and improved system performance.
