Product Description

4m Single-Mode Simplex SC/UPC to SC/UPC OS2 G652D Fibre Optic LSZH Cable (3000µm)

This high-quality fibre optic cable is designed to deliver exceptional performance and reliability for your networking needs.

The cable feature an SC/UPC connector on both ends, ensuring precise and secure connections. It has a bend radius of 30mm, offering flexibility that makes it easier to connect devices. It supports single-mode transmission, allowing for long-distance data transmission with minimal signal loss.

The OS2 fibre optic cable meets industry standards, guaranteeing optimal performance and compatibility. Its LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket provides added safety by minimising toxic emissions in case of fire.

With durable construction and superior signal transmission capabilities, this fibre optic cable is the perfect solution for telecommunications, data centers, and other applications requiring reliable and high-speed connectivity.

Upgrade your network infrastructure with our fibre optic cables and experience seamless connectivity like never before.

Advantages of Fibre Optics:

  • Significantly higher bandwidth compared to traditional copper cables. This increased bandwidth allows for the transmission of large amounts of data at incredibly fast speeds, enabling seamless streaming, rapid file transfers, and real-time communication.
  • Transmit data over much longer distances without suffering from signal degradation. Unlike copper cables, which experience signal loss over longer runs, fibre optics maintain the integrity of the signal over vast distances.
  • Immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring a stable and reliable connection even in environments with high levels of electrical noise.
  • Lightweight, flexible, and occupying less physical space, making them easier to install and handle.
  • Enhanced security as they are extremely difficult to tap into without detection, making them ideal for transmitting sensitive and confidential information.

Overall, fibre optic cables offer superior performance, reliability, scalability, and security, making them the preferred choice for high-speed, long-distance data transmission in telecommunications, networking, and various industries.

Applications:

  • CATV distribution and DOSIS data transmission
  • SAT-IF and DTT distribution
  • Other fibre optic communication systems

Frequently Asked Questions

G652D fibre is a standard single-mode optical fibre known for its low attenuation and minimal signal loss. It's ideal for high-speed, high-capacity telecommunications.
LSZH stands for Low Smoke Zero Halogen. This type of coating emits minimal smoke and no halogen when exposed to high heat or flame, making it safer for use in enclosed spaces.

Ive moved into a new build property and wanted to fit a TV aerial in my loft. After searching the net looking for advice on aerials I found Blake’s website. I put in my postcode and not only told what aerial I needed it also told me the transmitter I need to aim at. Prices were very reasonable and delivery was very quick. Was kept very well informed on my orders progress. Very impressed. Would definitely recommend to anyone 👍🏻

I used the online customer support system used by Blake UK for advice regarding my intended installation and got very quick and helpful advice on what would suit me best….this was honest advice as I was thinking of purchasing more expensive items that would be unnecessary and also possibly even detrimental to my intended installation. My order was received very quickly and although there had been a small mistake regarding the length of cable I had ordered this was immediately rectified by Blake UK again using their online messaging system. Personally I cannot fault Blake UK and would be very happy to recommend them to anyone, a very helpful and professional business, thank you.
