16 way Single Mode Simplex Fibre Optical Mini PLC Splitter SC/APC
PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) fibre optic splitters are an essential component of any optical network. These devices can be used to divide a single incoming signal into multiple outputs, enabling the loading and transmission of data over large distances. This helps to significantly reduce cost and maintenance time in networks as fewer components are required for the installation and configuration process.
PLC splitters are made from Fused Biconical Tapered (FBT) technology which minimises insertion loss and crosstalk, resulting in greater stability, lower bit-error rates, and improved system performance. They work by separating light with an angle polished connector at one end which allows the optical signal to enter into one port and be divided amongst multiple outputs.
They are widely used in Passive Optical Networks (PONs) for FTTH (Fibre-To-The-Home) applications. Good intial service, products arrived safely. Downside, found the products about 50% cheaper at another retailer who are reliable and trusted, so not lower quality and the aerial which was recommended for my area is not suitable and the quality of reception is worse then the original aerial.

I needed a custom size aerial tube bent. Blake were quick off the mark to give a quote (very reasonable) and after paying, I had the finished item a few days later by courier. Excellent service, and the finished tube was accurately bent to the drawing.
