QuMax xPOL Enclosure LTE RUT + BRKT

The QuMAX eXtra Range LTE (AXRL) is a 7dB directional LTE antenna, the most powerful of all QuWireless antennas, that's ideal for 4G installations in which unobstructed line-of-sight to a mast can be achieved regardless of distance. This antenna also acts as an IP67-rated waterproof enclosure for Teltonika 4G routers, allowing for great flexibility with installation due to not needing to be within 5 metres of a router back inside a building.

The AXRL's versatility goes beyond that of most other QuWireless antennas: while most other QuWireless antenna/enclosure equipment is designed with one specific Teltonika router model in mind, the AXRL's increased size renders it capable of enclosing almost any 4G router in the Teltonika range. This support includes the RUT200/240/241/900/901/950/951/955/956/X09/X11. The router itself will be powered via 9-30v passive PoE (Power over Ethernet), which can be run through standard Ethernet cable up to a distance of about 45-50 metres.

The AXRL provides great flexibility when deciding on an installation location because it avoids the usual limitation of the antenna needing to be within 5 metres of a router to fit within the maximum recommended cable length, since the router is positioned right with the antenna anyway. This improves the general performance, as it eliminates any loss of signal over cabling (since the router connects directly into the antenna without a length of cable needed) and it means the antenna can be mounted in the most optimal location possible, which for a directional antenna is typically as high as is feasible.

The AXRL's robustness allows it to perform well in industrial and marine environments as well as standard domestic ones; it also boasts additional space inside for mounting internal Teltonika GPS and Wi-Fi antennas should additional functionality be desired.

A lightning protector may want to be considered on the Ethernet cable leading from this antenna in order to protect the internal circuit of the building/vehicle in the extremely unlikely event that the antenna itself is directly struck by lightning.
