The Teltonika RUTM10 is an Ethernet router featuring four Gigabit RJ45 ports and dual-band WiFi 5 connectivity, making it ideal for applications that require both wired connections and a wireless access option for internet access. The RUTM10 can establish a WiFi mesh network within your networking solutions, enabling a smoother and more robust wireless network experience while making it highly secure due to the router’s support of VPNs like OpenVPN, IPsec, Wireguard, and Tailscale.

The RUTM10 can be securely mounted using optional surface or DIN rail mounting brackets.In addition, this router can be used with external WiFi antennas and can also be powered via PoE through its LAN 1 port. The required power voltage ranges from 9v-50v DC.

How does WiFi work on the RUTM10?

• WiFi Access Point Mode: The RUTM10 can act as a wireless access point, allowing client devices (laptops, phones, etc.) to connect via WiFi.

• WiFi Client or Repeater Mode: It can connect to another WiFi network, essentially extending an existing network or acting as a backup connection.

• WiFi Mesh Mode: The RUTM10 supports 802.11s mesh networking, allowing multiple routers to form a single, self-healing wireless network with seamless roaming and dynamic path selection between mesh nodes.

• Bridging & Repeating: While it doesn’t support true mesh networking, you can configure it in bridge/repeater mode to extend coverage, though this is manual and lacks the seamless handoff of mesh systems.
