Our 2-way passive optical receiver is designed for FTTH (Fibre to the Home) networks and does not require an additional power supply. Housed in a robust zinc die-cast enclosure with nickel plating, it provides reliable signal conversion without active components.
This unit can also be used across a range of applications, including long-haul fibre networks, data centres, security systems, CATV networks, RF-over-Fibre systems, medical imaging, broadcast A/V systems, and satellite communications.
What is a Passive Optical Splitter?
A passive optical splitter acts as an end-point that receives and converts incoming optical signals into electrical signals, enabling data transmission over the network. Unlike active receivers, it requires no external power source or internal electronic amplification.
Features:Primarily intended for FTTH use, this receiver is also suitable for use in data infrastructure, RF-over-Fibre systems, CATV, and more. Ordered pole, bracket and end stopper online to collect from Rutland Road Sheffield. No problem ordering and all items were in stock. Was informed when order was ready and was served by friendly staff on collection.

Good intial service, products arrived safely. Downside, found the products about 50% cheaper at another retailer who are reliable and trusted, so not lower quality and the aerial which was recommended for my area is not suitable and the quality of reception is worse then the original aerial.
