Our 4-way Passive optical receiver is designed for FTTH (Fibre to the Home) networks and does not require an additional power supply. Housed in a robust zinc die-cast enclosure with nickel plating, it provides reliable signal conversion without active components.
This unit can also be used across a range of applications, including long-haul fibre networks, data centres, security systems, CATV networks, RF-over-Fibre systems, medical imaging, broadcast A/V systems, and satellite communications.
What is a Passive Optical Splitter?
A passive optical splitter acts as an end-point that receives and converts incoming optical signals into electrical signals, enabling data transmission over the network. Unlike active receivers, it requires no external power source or internal electronic amplification.
Features:Primarily intended for FTTH use, this receiver is also suitable for use in data infrastructure, RF-over-Fibre systems, CATV, and more. Its passive, power-free operation makes it ideal where reliability and simplicity are key. Use in homes, data centres, and broadcast setups where fibre signal conversion is required.

I ordered a 1 in 2 out Hdmi switch but it was out of stock and rather than getting me to wait until it was in stock Blake UK sent a more expensive 1 in 4 out Hdmi switch at no extra charge. It was also delivered very quickly. I would there rate Blake UK ver highly - hence the 5 stars.
