EPNT-4-17 5G & WiFi Antenna Enclosure

The EPNT-0004-17 is an omni-directional antenna that also acts as a waterproof outdoor enclosure for routers that would ordinarily have to be kept inside to avoid damage from the elements. This equipment is extremely versatile, featuring not only 4x4 4G/5G LTE MIMO but also 2x2 Dual-Band WiFi and GPS antennas, all across a strong and consistent wideband frequency range. This enhances the flexibility of the EPNT-4 as not only can it be useful in 4G/5G, WiFi and GPS deployments but it can also be positioned much higher up and further away than most external antennas due to not being limited by proximity to a router.

As a mobile antenna, the EPNT-4 supports a wide frequency range from 600 to 4200MHz with a strong and consistent frequency range, meaning connections should be very stable with minimal dropout. This 5G frequency support also allows it to effectively utilise 5G capabilities such as Multi-Carrier Aggregation (CA). As a WiFi antenna, this unit supports 2.4GHz, 5GHz and even 7.2 GHz bands with a peak 5dBi. All antennas inside this unit are cross-polarised, in order to support wavebands from every possible direction.

The EPNT-4 has an IP67 rating, rendering it fully saltwater-protected and acceptable for use in extremely harsh conditions including at sea. As an enclosure, the EPNT-4 can allocate routers up to 140 x 120 x 50 mm³ - it is ideal for Teltonika routers.

A lightning protector may want to be considered on the Ethernet cable leading from this antenna in order to protect the internal circuit of the building/vehicle in the extremely unlikely event that the antenna itself is directly struck by lightning.
