The range of PROception TV reception, distribution and control products has been designed for the professional aerial and system installer. Featuring several new British designs, the range comes with the back-up that you would expect from the industry experts at Proception Limited.

PROception products are designed specifically for today’s mixed analogue and digital signal environments and the all-digital future. The built-in TETRA filtering and low noise figures of our fully-screened distribution amplifiers are examples of the thorough approach to design to be found in the entire range.

New generation multi-way amplifiers

Get ready for Digital Switchover with these versatile amplifiers.  Flexible powering, local or remote - no mains supply required at the amplifier location.

X-series dual-mode amplifiers
Dual Mode Amplifiers
Flexible Powering!

Two new amplifiers with PROception dual-mode technology.

  • proAMP310X 10-way dual-mode amplifier for the FM, Band lll DAB and UHF TV bands.
  • proAMP104X compact 4-way UHF amplifier.
  • 4-point system can be powered from a Sky box.

The 'Micro-8' compact UHF amplifier

  • proAMP108U - possibly the smallest 8-way amplifier on the market.
  • Power an 8-point system from a Freeview box.

Multi-way VHF/UHF distribution amplifiers

  • Traditional mains-powered amplifiers with VHF and UHF inputs.

proAMP aerial signal booster and distribution amplifiers

    • 1-, 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-way high-performance models.
    • Classic ‘full’ outputs allow system expansion using external passives.
    • 12 V 100 mA protected line-power available at UHF input.

    proAMP-R 'return-path' amplifiers

    • 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-way high-performance amplifiers with RF return path and 9 V IR receiver ‘eye power’ on all outputs.
  • starBOX RF hubs

starBOXes combine VHF, UHF and satellite signals to feed a ‘master’ outlet. A UHF return from set-top equipment is fed back to the starBOX for distribution to 5 or 10 additional points.

    Remote control

Infrared receiver ‘eye’ providing remote control extension for Sky satellite receivers when distributing signal from RF OUT-2.

    • proSAT1EYE Mk 2 – improved eye design with reduced current consumption (5 mA) for cooler running power units and a small energy saving.
    • Compatible with all dual-mode, proAMP-R and starBOX products.

    Masthead and outdoor products

Fully-screened masthead amplifiers and passive accessories with robust diecast RF modules housed in proven weatherproof ABS mouldings.

    proMHD14R dual-mode masthead amplifier
    Dual Mode Amplifiers
    Flexible Powering!

    • An outdoor 4-way UHF low-gain distribution amplifier for off-air or Sky distribution with remote control.

    Fixed and Variable-gain masthead preamplifiers

    • Core range of seven low-noise amplifiers. Fixed gains 9 to 27 dB; variable gains 1 to 22 dB; 1-, 2- and 4-way versions.

    Masthead passives

    • proMHS 2-way and 4-way power-passing passive splitters.

    • proCOM VHF/UHF diplexer and high-isolation VHF/UHF/SAT triplexer.

    Power units

Energy-efficient designs for use with our range of masthead amplifiers and the new generation amplifiers.

    • 12 V 100 mA regulated supplies for all masthead amplifiers, available with a choice of ‘IEC’ or ‘F’ connectors. These units have electronic short-circuit protection and warning as standard.
    • 2-way version with internal splitter – handy for feeding two points from a one-way masthead.
    • proPSU112X 200 mA unregulated unit for use with the 10-way new generation amplifier.
    • proPSA123 plug-in power adaptor for local powering of new-generation amplifiers.

    Outlet plates

Installer-friendly outlet plates for a wide range of applications.

    • Single, double and triple types. Dual ‘F’ type for Sky+.

    • Combination master plates with phone jack, for use in starBOX systems.
    • Traditional square-edged style.

    Network passive accessories

Two ranges of splitters and taps for MATV and satellite (IRS) applications.

    • 5 – 862 MHz MATV range: splitters from 2 to 8 ways; tap-off units from 1 to 8 way with tap values from 8 to 20 dB.
    • 5 – 2300 MHz satellite range: power-passing splitters from 2 to 8 ways; 2-way taps from 10 to 20 dB with trunk power-pass.
    • Five- and eight-way
