Power Supply Units

Part of the PROception core range for the professional aerial and system installer, these reliable power supply units are compatible with all products in the proMHD and proUSM masthead preamplifier ranges as well as other equipment requiring 12 V DC line-power at up to 100 mA. Three models are available, offering a choice of 'IEC' or 'F' type connectors, and one or two outputs. A high standard of screening in the RF section of each power unit helps ensure freedom from impulsive interference problems in DTT receiver installations.

The units are fully short-circuit proof on their outputs and are fitted with a two-colour power and fault indicator LED – green for normal 'mains on' indication and red if the output is shorted. proPSUs will not be damaged if left for long periods with their outputs shorted.

One-way power units

proPSU11C – 'IEC' connectors. This unit is intended for individual domestic aerial installations feeding one receiver or outlet point only.
proPSU11F – 'F' connectors. This unit is suitable for use in both individual aerial installations and distribution systems of any size.

Two-way power unit

proPSU12F – 'F' connectors and internal 2-way splitter. This convenient unit incorporates a high-quality two-way passive splitter and allows a single masthead preamplifier to feed two outlet points without the need for further passive accessories. When used with one of the PROception 4-way masthead preamplifiers (proMHD14M or proUSM14M) a very straightforward 5-way distribution system can be built.

Additional power units for proAMP310X and proAMP104X

proPSU112X

A new PROception PSU designed specifically for use with the proAMP310X.

12V (nominal) unregulated DC line-power unit.
200 mA current rating.
5 to 862 MHz RF bandwidth.
Use in-line on any output for Mode 1, or on UHF input for Mode 2.

proPSA123

A plug-in type AC/DC power adapter suitable for use with the proAMP310X (also compatible with proAMP104X and proAMP108U).

12V (nominal) unregulated output on standard 2.1 mm DC power connector.
300 mA current rating.
Use with proAMP310X in Mode 1 or 2. (Mode 2 is automatically selected if 9 V from a satellite receiver or PVR is sensed on the UHF input. An interlock function prevents the satellite receiver trying to power the whole system in the event of loss of power to the power adaptor.)
